He is surely best remembered as the author of Psycho, but he also wrote many books and did the screenplays for some movies and TV shows. Bloch passed away in 1994 at the age of 70. Important Added Info: Note that this postcard has been personally autographed (signed) by Robert Bloch! It was sent to a man wanting to interview him, and he was warning that man that he had nothing more (or new) to say about Psycho, H.P. Lovecraft, or Jack the Ripper, which everyone always asked him about! Our consignor is a longtime collector who purchased this signed item from a reputable dealer. He does not have a certificate of authenticity, but we believe the signature to likely be authentic. As is true of all the signed items we are currently auctioning, we give every buyer 30 days in which to review what they purchased and they can return any item as long as it is within 30 days of the end of the auction.
