Yashagaike (released in the U.S. as "Demon Pond"), the 1979 Masahiro Shinoda Japanese romantic fantasy melodrama starring Tamasaburo Bando, Go Kato, Tsutomu Yamazaki, Koji Nambara, and Yatsuko Tanami

Important Added Info: Note that this is a rare "country of origin" poster for this Japanese movie! Also note that this is a rare Japanese "B1" poster that measures approximately 28 1/2" x 40 1/2"! "B1" posters are FAR more rare than "B2" posters (which measure approximately 20" x 28 1/2"), and because they are larger (similar in size to a U.S. one-sheet), they are more impressive when displayed on a wall! Finally, note that this is a Japanese export poster. This means that it was printed in Japan, but was intended to be used when the movie was shown in English speaking countries.

Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had tiny paper loss at the crossfolds and creases and scuffs alongside the bottom half of the vertical foldline and some creases and tiny surface paper loss on parts of most foldlines. There were pinholes, creases, scuffs, and some tape stains around the edges of the poster. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can see slight signs of the above defects.
