Learn More UPDATED 06/07/2013: Note that a Hitchcock expert has told us that this poster is from the first Italian re-release of this film in 1951 and NOT a 1940s first release as we initially listed. We have updated the auction accordingly. Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had tears and areas of paper loss scattered down the top half of the center vertical foldline, and also small paper loss at some crossfolds and some creases, tears, and tiny paper loss on parts of some foldlines. There were some scuffs and smudges scattered in the image. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects. Learn More about condition grades
