An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Mexican Movie Poster (measures 27" x 37" [69 x 94 cm]) (Learn More)

Puerto de Tentacion (literally translates to "Port of Temptation"), the 1951 Rene Cardona Mexican romantic melodrama (about a girl in Acapulco who falls in love with an injured man who has a wife and children, and is eventually killed by a smuggler who was also interested in her) starring Ramon Armengod, Emilia Guiu, Linares Rivas, Gloria Rios, and Nelly Montiel. It appears this movie was never released in the U.S. If anyone knows more about this movie, please e-mail us and we will post it here.
Artist: Juan Antonio Vargas Ocampo
Important Added Info: Note that this is a "country of origin" poster for this Mexican movie! Also note that the art on this poster is signed "Vargas", but is NOT the famous pin-up artist Alberto Vargas, but rather a Mexican artist whose full name was Juan Antonio Vargas Ocampo!

Condition: good. This Mexican poster is EXTREMELY fragile. Mexican posters were printed on a paper stock that often ages very poorly, and also darkens. This poster has darkened somewhat and is more fragile along the foldlines (but of course, any talented restorer could linenback the poster, after which it would look great, but it might require fairly extensive restoration). Please do not bid on this poster unless you can accept how fragile it is, or are willing to pay to have it linenbacked. A few of the tears or other defects as described above are repaired with tape from the back.
