An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Japanese "B2" Movie Poster (measures 20 1/4" x 28 5/8" [51 x 73 cm]) (Learn More) Ningen no Joken (released in English-speaking countries as "The Human Condition" and "Human Condition I: No Greater Love"), the 1959 Masaki Kobayashi Japanese historical World War II (WWII) soldier military action conscientious objector thriller melodrama starring Tatsuya Nakadai, Michiyo Aratama, Chiakage Awashima, Ineko Arima, and Keiji Sada. Note that this was the first movie a series of three films about a Japanese pacifist as he tries to get through World War II If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this is an extremely rare poster. We have never auctioned one with this different design in all our years of auctioning! Note that this is a "country of origin" poster for this Japanese movie! Also note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube. Condition: good to very good. There are many creases scattered in various areas throughout the poster (see our image). It has pinholes, creases, defects, areas of paper loss and tears of varying lengths along parts of the upper and right edges. Fortunately it is otherwise "mostly all there" and after proper restoration the poster will display well, but bear in mind the poster's condition and the cost of restoration before bidding on it.
