An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (measures 11" x 14") (Learn More) Captain Blood, the classic 1935 Michael Curtiz (nominated for the Best Director Academy Award for this film) Jamaica romantic swashbuckling high seas pirate ship ocean adventure thriller ("Caps the all!"; "By Rafael Sabatini"; nominated for the Best Picture Academy Award) starring Errol Flynn (in the title role as Irish doctor Peter Blood), Olivia De Havilland, Basil Rathbone, Ross Alexander, Guy Kibbee, Henry Stephenson, Robert Barrat, Hobart Cavanaugh, Lionel Atwill, George Hassell, and J. Carrol Naish. Note that Errol Flynn had had a few bit parts prior to this movie, but Robert Donat dropped out of this movie at the last minute, and Warner Bros. decided that Flynn was ready for stardom, and they sure were right!
