Important Added Info: Note that this item has been personally autographed (signed) by TEN people: Frank Capra, Sol Lesser, Sally Eilers, Dennis O'Keefe, Clarence Brown, Janet Gaynor, Charles Farrell, Paul Lukas, William Powell, AND Bob Hope! Apparently, Sol Lesser owned this book and wrote notes on many of the pages (approximately 18) about films and stars that he was associated with (people referenced on the pages he wrote on). At a later time, someone who acquired the book got the above ten celebrities to autograph pages on which they are mentioned! So not only is this a great reference book about the early days of movies that was first published in 1957, but it also has all of the above handwritten material and autographs in it as well! Our consignor is a longtime collector who purchased this signed item from a reputable dealer, and he does not have a certificate of authenticity, but we believe the signatures to be authentic. Also note that we have pictured the front cover, the title page, and the interior page that shows the publishing information, and many interior 2-page spreads, and we also pictured a note that was paper clipped to the first interior page that tells about what is handwritten in the book and on what pages (see our images). Note: We have 29 images of the books in this set, but due to a space limitation, only TEN of the 29 images are displayed above.
