An Original Vintage Theatrical Autographed Deluxe 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Charles Farrell was an actor from the 1920s to the 1950s. He was a major romantic leading star in the 1920s, and he is best remembered for the dozen movies in which he co-starred with Janet Gaynor (they were one of the most successful screen couples ever!). In the 1950s, he had a comeback as the long suffering father of Gale Storm on TV's "My Little Margie". Some of his movies include: Seventh Heaven, City Girl, and The Freshman. He passed away in 1990 at the age of 89. Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by Charles Farrell! Also note that this is a deluxe still printed on double weight paper stock and it has an embossed photographer's stamp in one of the bottom corners. Note that eMoviePoster.com originally auctioned this in 2019, and the person who purchased it has reconsigned it to us now. It is from a remarkable collection of items (mostly postcards and German Ross postcards) from the estate of the late Jan Wahl, who had a great love of silent film, and he collected many items from silent films, including this item. Note that this does not come with a certificate of authenticity, but given the fact that Mr. Wahl purchased this item decades ago, and given that he was an expert in such items, we think it is incredibly likely the signature is authentic. This is a rare opportunity to purchase autographed items from great silent film stars that have a wonderful provenance! As is true of all the signed items we are currently auctioning, we give every buyer 30 days in which to review what they purchased (although we prefer they do any "authenticating" while the auction is "live" and before they place a bid) and they can return any item as long as it is within 30 days of the end of the auction.
