An Original 1955 (from the first release of this movie in Japan) Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Japanese "B2" Movie Poster (measures 20 1/4" x 28 5/8" [51 x 73 cm]) (Learn More) Irving Berlin's White Christmas, the classic 1954 Michael Curtiz post-World War II sisters holiday singing-and-dancing romantic musical (with classic "Lyrics and music by Irving Berlin"; "The most fabulous music-and-mirth show in motion picture history!"; "Joyous entertainment for every season, any year!!!!") starring Bing Crosby, Danny Kaye, Rosemary Clooney, Vera-Ellen, and Dean Jagger. Note that this was the first motion picture to be filmed in VistaVision! Also note that the title song "White Christmas" was first introduced in 1942 in the Fred Astaire/Bing Crosby movie "Holiday Inn", and it proved to be so popular that this movie was made, utilizing part of the plot of that earlier film, and reusing this song, which was now over a decade old, but it proved to be an even greater hit! Important Added Info: Note that we have never auctioned ANY Japanese movie paper from this title until we were consigned this ultra rare B2 poster! Condition: good to very good. The poster has pinholes and tape stains around the edges (the original tape was not used for any restoration purpose). There are a few tiny dot stains in the lower half of the poster and there is a small yellow circle in Vera-Ellen's chest, which may be in the printing of the poster. It is otherwise in pretty nice condition and after a pretty simple linenbacking the very rare poster will look great! Learn More about condition grades
