UPDATED 12/22/2020: Note that we have updated the Condition information. What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. The poster had fine surface paper loss on parts of some foldlines (typical of high-gloss posters of this period). It had pinholes, few tape stains, a few small tears, scuffs around the edges, and the rating was blacked over. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects, and the restorer left the rating as is. Learn More about condition grades
