An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures approximately 3" x 4") (Learn More) Condemned, the 1929 Wesley Ruggles South America romantic love triangle escape-from-Devil's-Island prison crime melodrama ("All talking"; based on the novel by Blair Niles; about a bank robber on Devil's Island who gains the trust of the warden and falls in love with the warden's beautiful wife, and when she returns to France, he escapes so he can be with her) starring Ronald Colman (nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award for this film), Ann Harding, Louis Wolheim, Dudley Digges, and William Elmer NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). We have taken a digital photo of each that shows the general condition of the overall slide and holder, and we have also made a digital scan that shows the glass image well, but does not show the holder (except as a dark outline). Condition: fine. This glass slide is in really excellent condition, and we feel that EVERY collector would be happy to own it. It IS possible it may have a MINOR defect or defects, but nothing at all significant. But we bet many dealers would call items in this grade "mint" or "near mint"! Learn More about condition grades
