An Original Vintage Theatrical French Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 10 3/4" x 13 3/4" [27 x 35 cm]) (Learn More)

Bullets or Ballots, the 1936 William Keighley political crime thriller starring Edward G. Robinson, Joan Blondell, Barton MacLane, Humphrey Bogart, Frank McHugh, Joseph King, Richard Purcell, George E. Stone, Joseph Crehan, and Henry O'Neill. Note that this movie was made directly after Humphrey Bogart's first major hit, "The Petrified Forest", but Warner Bros. still did not believe in him (or possibly the advertising was prepared prior to the release of The Petrified Forest). He was billed a dismal fourth, and Edward G. Robinson was billed large above the title, and Joan Blondell was billed large below the title, but Bogart was billed in small letters after Barton MacLane! In addition, Bogart only appears on a few of the posters, because the main thrust of the ad campaign was pushing Edward G. Robinson!
