An Original Vintage Theatrical Autographed 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) George Montgomery was an actor from the 1930s to the 1980s. He was married to actress/singer Dinah Shore, and they had two children together. Some of his movies include: Roxie Hart, Battle of the Bulge, and Coney Island. He passed away in 2000 at the age of 84. Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by George Montgomery! Also note that this still appears in every way to be original U.S. release EXCEPT that there is one very tiny line of French type in the lower right. It reads, "IMPRIME AUX ETATS-UNIS D'AMERIQUE". A collector has told us that he believes this means the still was used in French speaking parts of Canada, but it was printed in the U.S., and that makes complete sense to us! So it is an original still from , but it was printed for use in parts of Canada. If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here. About the Collection this Item Comes From Note that this item was consigned to us by a man who was a major movie memorabilia dealer from the 1980s on. During that time, he would regularly purchase collections of movie memorabilia from both dealers and collectors, and in some of those collections he purchased autographed items, and over the years he did not re-sell any of the autographed items. Now he has gathered up together all of his autographed items and consigned them to us. So all of the items from this consignor we are auctioning were purchased by this dealer from longtime dealers and collectors, and we feel it is quite likely that the autograph on this item is authentic!
