An Original Vintage Theatrical Autographed 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Ben Johnson was an actor from the 1930s to the 1990s, primarily in western roles. Some of his movies include: Shane (as Chris Calloway), Mighty Joe Young, The Last Picture Show (winner of the Best Supporting Actor Academy Award for this film), She Wore a Yellow Ribbon, and The Getaway. He passed away in 1996 at the age of 77. Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by Ben Johnson! Note that our consignor purchased a collection of autographed stills that were collected by Leonard Sorgi, who was a unit manager for ABC for shows like The Soupy Sales Show, The Jerry Mahony Show, and many others. He was also Unit Manager for the Academy Awards for a number of years, and during his long and varied career, he met many celebrities and obtained autographs from them in person (often personalized to him).
