She'll Get You!"; "She gives you that weird feeling!"; "Based upon the Bram Stoker story 'Dracula's Guest'"; "Story suggested by Oliver Jeffries") starring Otto Kruger, Gloria Holden (in the title role as Countess Marya Zaleska), Marguerite Churchill, Edward Van Sloan (as Professor Van Helsing), Gilbert Emery, Irving Pichel, Billy Bevan (one of the better Charlie Chaplin imitators of the time), Nan Gray, Hedda Hopper, Halliwell Hobbes, Claude Allister, Edgar Norton, and E.E. Important Added Info: Note that we have only previously auctioned five 1936 first release lobby cards from this movie in all our years of auctioning, and the last card we auctioned, which showed Holden, sold for $5,250! Note that this lobby card has been paperbacked. What is paperbacking? This means the lobby card was backed onto a heavy paper backing (acid-free), that is similar in feel to that of the original lobby card (except somewhat heavier). It is a similar process to linenbacking, except that most collectors use linenbacking for one-sheets and paperbacking for half-sheets, inserts, window cards, and lobby cards. Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. What IS paperbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. Prior to paperbacking, the card had tiny bits of paper loss scattered down the extreme left of the left blank border, with some tiny bits of paper loss in the candle and the flame at lower left. Other than these defects, the card was in pretty nice condition prior to paperbacking. The card was well backed, and displays well, but you can see slight signs of the border restoration when you look at it close up. Learn More about condition grades
