Date Sold 8/2/2022Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures 3 1/4" x 4" [8 x 10 cm]) (Learn More) Moran of the Lady Letty, the 1922 George Melford silent high seas romantic smuggling adventure thriller ("From the story by Frank Norris"; about a young man who's abducted and put into service on aboard a smuggling ship) starring Dorothy Dalton (in the title role as Moran Letty Sternersen), Rudolph Valentino, Charles Brinley, Walter Long, Emil Jorgenson, Maude Wayne and George O'Brien. Note that Valentino was not even billed on this poster (although he is pictured)! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). This slide is the kind that has two panes of glass that are taped together with black tape around all four edges (front and back), typical of many older glass slides. We have provided a high quality scan of the image, but we have not taken a photo of the slide, because there would really be very little to see! Condition: very good.
