Important Added Info: Note that this spiral-bound book is the only one in existence! It was made by producer Stanley Kramer, who then gave it to director Edward Dmytryk when filming on this movie wrapped up. It consists of 30 10 1/2" x 13 1/4" pages on heavy paper stock, most of which picture single images, but a few have more than one image. They sort of tell the story of the movie, and the last page has Humphrey Bogart as Queeg on the witness stand with his steel balls in his hand. The front cover is a thick plastic sheet with "THE CAINE MUTINY" embossed on it in gold letters, and the back cover is a blank plastic sheet. Some later owner of this taped a white piece of paper to a blank area on the first interior page stating that it was given as a gift, and they also added two sheets that list captions for each of the photos. Because Stanley Kramer had this made especially to give to the director, it is one of a kind, and the only one in existence! Condition: good to very good. The plastic covers both have smudges, scuffs, and stains, although we would think maybe it can be cleaned or restored, and make no promises about it. A few of the interior pages have slight wear around the edges (see our many images). Learn More about condition grades
