Richard Jones & James Young silent western inheritance comedy ("[Mickey is] Funnier than Charlie Chaplin, more sensational then 'The Birth of a Nation', as spectacular as 'Intolerance', a greater love story than 'Hearts of the World', with the adventure of the 'Arabian Nights'"; produced by Mack Sennett; about an orphan whose father leaves her a mine, and she is sent to relatives who think she's rich, but when they find out the mine is worthless, they treat her terribly, but ultimately, the mine proves to be very valuable, and the girl triumphs) starring Mabel Normand (in her first full-length feature; in the title role as Mickey; "She is coming! The lass you'll never forget"; "The girl of a million moods and expressions"), George Nichols, Wheeler Oakman, Minta Durfee, Laura La Varnie, and Lew Cody. Note that Normand and Cody became friends during the filming of the movie, and stayed friends even though they never made another movie together, and in 1926, they were married! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this very large herald has a massive amount of information about the movie and Mabel Normand, along with many pictures of her. Both sides have completely different information (see our images) Condition: very good. Someone attached a printed oval label to the top center of the herald. It covers the "CO" of "COMING", and could be easily removed by a talented amateur or a professional. Other than that, and having been folded, the herald is in surprisingly nice condition, especially considering its age, and its large size (8 3/4" x 23"). Learn More about condition grades
