An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Mexican Movie Poster (measures 26 3/4" x 37" [68 x 94 cm]) (Learn More)

El Tesoro de Pancho Villa (literally translates to "The Treasure of Pancho Villa"), the 1954 Rafael Baledon Mexican wrestler wrestling sports luchador masked hero war action adventure thriller (about two men protecting a woman from criminals trying to find lost gold) starring Fernando Oses (billed as "La Sombra Vengadora"), Alicia Caro, Rodolfo Landa, Pascual Garcia Pena, Carlos Muzquiz, Guillermo Hernandez (billed as "El Lobo Negro"), and Rafael Banquells. Note that some sites say that this film is from 1957, while others say 1954 (which we believe to be correct). Also, this is one of the first Mexican films to feature a masked superhero.
Artist: Francisco Diaz Moffitt
Important Added Info: Note that this is a "country of origin" poster for this Mexican movie!

Condition: good. There is light rippling scattered in portions of the poster due to exposure to moisture. This Mexican poster is somewhat fragile. Mexican posters were printed on a paper stock that often ages very poorly, and also darkens. This poster has darkened somewhat and is more fragile along the foldlines (but of course, any talented restorer could linenback the poster, after which it would look great).
