An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked Chapter #12 ("False Friends") One-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 27" x 41") (Learn More)

The Fighting Ranger, the 1925 Jay Marchant Texas Rangers action adventure serial ("An Adventure Picture") starring Jack Daugherty, Al Wilson ("World's Champion Stunt-Flyer"), Eileen Sedgwick (one of the only true cowgirl stars of the silent era, she had starred in serials for years, and when westerns became popular in the mid-1920s, she starred in several of those), Frank Lanning, Bud Osborne, Sam Polo, and Gladys Roy. Note that Al Wilson was a stunt pilot who became a producer and actor in a number of movies between 1923 and 1932 (including performing some stunts in Hell's Angels in 1930), when he sadly died performing airplane stunts at an air show. He was only 36.

If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.

Condition: very good to fine. The poster had tiny paper loss at the crossfolds, minor fold wear, a pinhole in each corner, and some minor border defects. Overall, the poster was in very good to fine condition prior to linenbacking (especially considering the poster is 80 years old!). The poster was well backed, and looks great!
