An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Swedish Movie Poster (measures approximately 27" x 39") (Learn More) Ambassador Bill, the 1931 Sam Taylor romantic political comedy (about the American ambassador to a small mythical European country who befriends the young heir to the throne, and he needs to help keep the boy alive!) starring Will Rogers (in the title role as Bill Harper), Greta Nissen, Marguerite Churchill, Gustav von Seyffertitz, Ray Milland, and Tad Alexander. Note that Tad Alexander, who co-stars in this movie, as the young King Paul of an unnamed foreign country, was making his film debut at the age of 9. He made nine more movies over the next three years, but then, he grew quite a bit, and could not play pre-teen roles! He trained himself to play the piano, and gave concerts! He left show business to join the military in World War II, and never returned to show business, passing away in 2012 in the age of 90. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.
