An Original Vintage Campaign Book (measures 9 1/2" x 12 3/4" [24 x 32 cm]; 20 pages) (Learn More) United Artists Pictures 1927-1928, the 1927 United Artists campaign book featuring images and information about upcoming United Artists movie releases for the 1927-28 season including: My Best Girl with Mary Pickford, The Circus with Charlie Chaplin, The Gaucho with Douglas Fairbanks, College with Buster Keaton and many, many more. All of the pages are black & white, but they have excellent images of their top stars and the pages are really striking! United Artists this year had some of the most legendary actors ever, and they made some of their best movies this year, which makes this book especially memorable! Note that even though this campaign book was sent to many theater owners, it appears that very few examples have survived. I have been a collector of campaign books and related material for many years, and I know for certain that this campaign book is extremely rare! Finally, note that campaign books in general are extremely rare, and the best of them have often sold for hundreds of dollars, and in the case of the very finest, thousands of dollars!
