An Original Vintage Autographed English Stage Play Program (measures 9" x 12" [23 x 30 cm]; 24 pages) (Learn More)

The Phantom of the Opera, the 1988 - 2023 Harold Prince romantic horror thriller stage play production (of the Andrew Lloyd Webber play which was based on the novel Le Fantome de l'Opera by Gaston Leroux) starring Michael Crawford (in the title role), Claire Moore, Sarah Brightman, Steve Barton, John Savident, and Rosemary Ashe
Important Added Info: Note that this item has been personally autographed (signed) by Michael Crawford, Steve Barton, Sarah Brightman, and John Savident! Note that the consignor of this program is no longer with us, but we believe he attended the first regular performance of this legendary play on October 9, 1986 (which is printed on the title page of this program), and that he obtained the four autographs on the cover on that night. Also note that we have pictured the front cover, the back cover, and an interior 2-page spread from this program.

About the Jon Robert Shaps Autograph Collection
Note that this item and 56 others were consigned to us by the brother of Jon Robert Shaps, a celebrity photographer in the 1970s and 1980s. This is a truly remarkable collection of signed items! We have created a webpage explaining who Jon Robert Shaps was and how he acquired this collection, and we urge you to view that page at this link. The page also has images of Mr. Shaps with 29 celebrities he photographed, and also an image of an appraisal of these items done in 1991, after Mr. Shaps' untimely passing. The phrase "once-in-a-lifetime opportunity" is certainly overused, but it seems to be very appropriate in the case of the auction of these 57 items!

Condition: very good to fine.
