Robertson silent Cuba tropical island romantic love triangle action adventure thriller (based on the novel 'Romance' by Joseph Conrad; about a Cuban rich man and his sister who are held prisoner by the governor of the island, who wants to seize their fortune and marry the sister, but a man arrives from Spain, who sometimes says he is a "Captain of the Dragoons" and sometimes says he is a pirate, and he saves them and wins the love of the pretty sister) starring Ramon Novarro, Marceline Day, Marc McDermott, Roy D'Arcy, and Cesare Gravina. Note that this is a "lost" film which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that although this lobby card has been trimmed, it now measures 11" x 14 1/4" [28 x 36 cm], because it was surely part of an uncut sheet of eight lobby cards, and someone trimmed them by hand, which resulted in this one measuring slightly larger than it should! One could slightly trim the borders so that it becomes 11" x 14", or one could leave it as it is for the interesting curiosity that it truly is, because almost no uncut sheets of cards exist, and few "mistrimmed" ones like this exist either! Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: good to very good. Parts of the blank borders were trimmed, but the card measures greater than 11" x 14" (see above for why). There are some faint smudges and water stains in parts of the left and top borders, with a tear in the middle or the left blank border.
