Date Sold 8/6/2013Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. An Autographed 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] REPRODUCTION Still (Learn More) William Shatner is an actor from the 1950s to the present. He was 27 when he made The Brothers Karamazov, and he had already spent five years appearing on TV shows. It seemed like this first movie role might be a big break for him, but it was not to be and he returned to TV for 8 more years, including memorable appearances in episodes of The Twilight Zone. In 1966, when he was 35, and it appeared his career might be winding down, he was cast as Captain Kirk in "Star Trek" (a replacement for Jeffrey Hunter, who had starred in the pilot as "Captain Pike", but was no longer available) and that propelled Shatner to stardom. He is also remembered for his role as Denny Crane in the "Boston Legal" TV series. His early acting is often parodied due to his overuse of dramatic pauses when speaking his lines AND Leonard Nimoy was an actor from the 1950s until his passing in 2015. Some of his movies include: Land of the Lost, Them!, and Invasion of the Body Snatchers, but he is best remembered as Mr. Spock in the original "Star Trek" television series and movies Important Added Info: Note that this REPRO still (which is a commercially sold image of the two stars, made in the late 1960s) has been personally autographed (signed) by BOTH William Shatner AND Leonard Nimoy! Our consignor obtained this autograph through the mail through correspondence with both stars in 1979. Condition: very good. There are a few faint scuffs and tiny dot stains around the edges.
