A 1951 Re-Release Vintage Theatrical Folded Italian One-Panel (known in Italy as a "2 Fogli") Movie Poster (1p; measures 39" x 55" [99 x 140 cm]) (Learn More)

Dagli Appennini alle Ande (literally translates to "From the Apennines to the Andes"), the 1943 Flavio Calzavara Italian juvenile adventure melodrama (based on the novel, "Cuore", by Edmondo De Amicis; about a boy making his way alone across South America to meet his mother in California) starring Leda Gloria, Cesare Barbetti, Giulio Battiferri, Nino Pavese, and Vira Silenti. Note that this was a popular Italian novel that was adapted into a silent movie in 1918. This was the first sound version, and there were several sound versions after that. But although it was quite popular in Italy, it was apparently not released in other countries. It appears this movie was never released in the U.S. If anyone knows more about this movie, please e-mail us and we will post it here.
