An Original Vintage Theatrical Kraftbacked Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 40 3/4") (Learn More)

The Fighting Devil Dogs, the 1944 William Witney & John English military science fiction (sci-fi) adventure thriller ("The Marines to the rescue!... Fearless sons of freedom... Fighting hard... Near and far... To rid the world of the Nazi menace!..."; "Adapted From Serial Bearing Same Title") starring Lee Powell, Bruce Bennett (billed as "Herman Brix"), Eleanor Stewart, Montagu Love, and Perry Ivins. Note that this movie was originally a 1938 serial. As often happened with 1930s and 1940s serials, that serial was edited into this "feature version" (a condensed version of all the chapters, eliminating unnecessary subplots, and bringing it down to feature length). However, in this case, this feature version was not created and released until six years after the serial was released, so we list it as a separate entry, because of the long delay between the two.

If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.
Important Added Info: This poster has been kraftbacked, which means it was backed onto a brown paper soon after it was printed (this process is called "kraft-backing", and posters with it are called "kraft-backed"). One could have it professionally removed from the kraft paper and linenbacked, and it would look great!

Condition: fair. There is a censor stamp at center and a distributor snipe in the lower left corner. There are creases throughout the poster from it being kraftbacked.
