The Wonderful Wizard of Oz (since reprinted under the title "The Wizard of Oz"), the 1900 L. Frank Baum children's fantasy novel (about the adventures of a young farm girl named Dorothy in the magical Land of Oz). Note that this book has since been re-printed several times, and adapted to movies, stage plays, and more!
