La Tragedie Imperiale (released in English-speaking countries as "Rasputin"), the 1938 (released in the U.S. in 1939) Marcel L'Herbier French Russia biographical melodrama (unlike other versions of this historical biography, in this version, Rasputin sincerely believes he can help the Czar's family, and he is more of a tragic figure than an evil one) starring Harry Baur (in the title role as Rasputin), Marcelle Chantal (as Czarina Alexandra), Pierre Richard-Willm, Jean Worms (as Czar Nicholas), and Jany Holt

Condition: very good. The stills are in pretty nice condition!
