He introduced two movies: El Mariachi, the 1992 Robert Rodriguez Mexican/U.S. mistaken identity crime action thriller ("With a guitar in his hand and a price on his head, he wasn't looking for trouble. But trouble came looking for him."; "The remarkable debut film from director Robert Rodriguez."; filmed at an initial cost of $7000, it went on to make $2 million; because of its success Rodriguez was able to redo it with a multi-million dollar budget as "Desperado") starring Carlos Gallardo, Consuelo Gomez, Jaime de Hoyos, Peter Marquardt, and Reinol Martinez AND Xian Ren Zhang (released in English-speaking countries as "Run"), the 1994 Derek Chang & Chung-Hon Siu Hong Kong action adventure (a remake of Robert Rodriguez's film "El Mariachi") starring Lung Chan, Ho Chin, Yun-Fat Chow, Eric Kot, and Jan Lamb
