Das Deutsche Plakat: Von Den Anfangen Bis Zur Gegenwart (literally translates to "The German Poster: From the Beginnings to the Present"), the 1965 Hellmut Rademacher East German illustrated historical book that examined the history of German poster and artists. Included with the book was a portfolio featuring reprints of four famous posters: the 1908 Kunstchau exhibition art show poster (measures 15 3/4" x 27 1/2"), the 1865 Simplicissimus Thomas Heine Bulldog (measures 18" x 26 3/4"), the 1899 Die - Insel Emil Rudolph Weiss poster (measures 23 1/2" x 33"), and the 1958 The Miller of Sanssouci Klemke Werner poster (measures 23 1/2" x 33"). When this book was first published, these four posters were included with the book and surely the vast majority of them were either put up on the walls or sold individually, and it is very difficult to find a complete set, as is offered here (with the original folder printed to contain them)!
