Wilson was an accountant who worked for the Treasury Department, going undercover and joining gangs, and his greatest assignment was getting hard evidence on Al Capone, which led to his conviction on income tax evasion; this movie was based on his real story, but of course, it was dramatized and fictionalized to make it more exciting) starring Glenn Ford, Nina Foch, James Whitmore, Barry Kelley, David Wolfe, Frank Tweddell, Howard St. John, John F.
