Kenton detective crime murder mystery screwball comedy ("Their newest fun-riot...!"; "Original Story, Stanley Roberts"; about two dumb soda jerks who dream about writing mysteries for radio shows; they go to the station to pitch their ideas, and end up in the middle of a real murder investigation when the radio station owner is killed) starring Bud Abbott, Lou Costello (Abbott and Costello), Patric Knowles, William Gargan, Louise Allbritton, William Bendix, Mary Wickes, Don Porter, and Ludwig Stossel. Note that in the movie, Abbott and Costello wear deerstalker hats, because of their association with legendary fictional detective Sherlock Holmes. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: A. Peet Important Added Info: Note that this poster has been trimmed and it now measures 14 1/4" x 18 1/2" [36 x 47 cm]. Also note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube. Note finally this Belgian poster has a great image of Costello wearing a Sherlock Holmes type hat, while using a magnifying glass to closely inspect a very sexy masked girl with a gun and a sword in each hand! Condition: good to very good. The poster originally had a blank top that was neatly trimmed off (this is commonly done with Belgian posters, similar to how the blank top is trimmed off of U.S. window cards). It has a tax stamp at lower right that is loosely glued to the poster and there is much crayon writing on back (it was used as a sign). Learn More about condition grades
