An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Belgian Movie Poster (measures 24 1/2" x 34 1/2" [62 x 88 cm]) (Learn More) Lady Killer, the 1933 Roy Del Ruth Hollywood California movie acting romantic crime comedy (about a racketeer who is down on his luck and goes to Hollywood and becomes a hobo, but he gets a bit part in a movie, and winds up becoming a major star, but then his former gang members show up to blackmail him) starring James Cagney, Mae Clarke, Margaret Lindsay, Henry O'Neill, and Leslie Fenton NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: W. Thiron Important Added Info: Note that we have only previously auctioned two examples of this first release Belgian poster, which has a great different image from the post-war re-release Belgian poster, and only one in the last 27 years. That last example has now been reconsigned to us, so this is still only one of two examples we have ever auctioned! Note that this is a rare "pre-War" Belgian poster. Prior to World War II, Belgian posters were much larger than the ones from after the war, and they are extremely rare (because during WWII, there was a massive paper shortage in Belgium, and they took virtually every poster and map, and printed new posters on the backs of them!). Also note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube. Condition: very good. The poster has extra folds but otherwise has minor fold and border wear. Learn More about condition grades
