Artist: Tom Jung Important Added Info: NOTE THAT THIS POSTER HAS A MUCH DARKER, RICHER BLUE BACKGROUND THAN MANY OTHER EXAMPLES OF THIS POSTER WE HAVE SEEN (although we have auctioned several other examples of this "bold" blue style B half-sheet before). But we have examined the poster very closely, and it is surely an original poster. Perhaps, due to the great popularity of this movie, there was more than one print run of this poster, and during this particular print run, a brighter background color was used. It is more rare than the lighter blue "regular" style, and we refer to it as the "bold" style B. Note that this poster has never been machine folded! Some pre-1970 half-sheet posters were machine folded twice horizontally at the poster exchange, while some were not. It can be difficult to find an unfolded example of many pre-1970 half-sheet posters (note that most post-1970 half-sheets were NOT machine folded, so they are pretty much only found unfolded, and therefore this does not apply to those half-sheets). Condition: good. The poster was never folded. It has many spotty dot stains at right. They affect approximately 6" of that edge, and then only a few appear in some tiny areas. The image area is in pretty nice condition, and after some proper restoration the poster will display well, but bear in mind the poster's condition and the cost of restoration before bidding on it.
