An Original Vintage Theatrical 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) The Telegraph Trail, the 1933 Tenny Wright cowboy western starring John Wayne ("The Rough Riding Star"), Duke ("The Miracle Horse"), Frank McHugh, Marceline Day, Otis Harlan, Albert J. Smith, Yakima Canutt, Lafe McKee, and Slim Whitaker. Note that in this early movie (and in several of his other early movies), John Wayne's horse was named Duke (which was the name of Wayne's childhood dog). Of course, many years later, Wayne himself would become known as "The Duke"! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this 1933 movie was re-released in 1939 after John Wayne's great success in Stagecoach, and first release 1933 movie paper of any kind is incredibly rare (this is only the second 1933 still we have had from this movie)!
