The one that was in "good to very good" condition auctioned for $1,250! What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. The poster had tears, stains, and areas of paper loss around the edges and some small tears and tiny areas of paper loss on parts of most folds, with small paper loss at most crossfolds. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can clearly see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects, and the person who restored the poster chose to paint over all of the blank border areas, and it is pretty noticeable (perhaps the paint they used has aged differently from the poster itself; see our image).
