An Original Vintage Linenbacked World War I Poster (measures 27" x 40 1/4" [69 x 102 cm]) (Learn More) Americans All!, the 1919 U.S. World War I (WWI) War Bonds poster ("Victory Liberty Loan"; "Honor Roll: Du Bois, Smith, O'Brien, Cejka, Haucke, Pappandrikopolous, Andrassi, Villotto, Levy, Turovich, Kowalski, Chriczanevicz, Knutson, Gonzales") encouraging civilians to purchase victory war bonds to pay for the war that just ended, and featuring Howard Chandler Christy art of Columbia holding a wreath in front of the American Flag. Note that the names on this poster were taken from actual casualty lists sent to General 'Blackjack' Pershing. Artist: Howard Chandler Christy Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good to fine. The poster was never folded. It had some tiny bits of paper loss in small parts of the borders and a tiny faint stain near the center of the bottom border. Overall, the poster was in very good to fine condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer backed the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above. Learn More about condition grades
