Daddy's Gone A-Hunting (released in Spain as "Shock"), the 1969 Mark Robson San Francisco California mental illness revenge thriller ("Welcome to San Francisco, Cathy! You're going to meet Kenneth. Make love to him. Leave him. And then the love story will end... And the nightmare begin!"; "When does the love story become a nightmare!"; "What made you leave him, Cathy...was it the way he made love, or why?"; "Written by Larry Cohen and Lorenzo Semple Jr"; about a mentally disturbed man who has a girlfriend who gets an abortion, and she marries a politician, and her ex-boyfriend begins stalking her, trying to get her to kill her child, because in his disturbed mind that will make them even for the child she aborted) starring Carol White, Paul Burke, Mala Powers, Scott Hylands (billed as "and introducing Scott Hylands", as the mentally disturbed boyfriend), and James Sikking. Note that Larry Cohen had much success in TV in the 1960s, with many serious shows, including "The Defenders". In the early 1970s, he took a major shift in his writing focus, and he had great success with blaxploitation movies like "Black Caesar" and "Hell Up in Harlem", and then he shifted yet again in the early 1980s, directing and writing the "It's Alive" horror movies!
