Fallen Angel, the 1945 Otto Preminger romantic love triangle bad girl mystery crime film noir melodrama ("Based on the novel by Marty Holland"; "Song 'Slowly' by David Raksin & Kermit Goell"; a very cynical film noir about a real heel who is involved with a "good" girl and a "bad" girl, and the bad girl will only marry him if he has money, so he plans to marry the good girl, take all her money, and then dump her, and take off with the bad girl!; but the bad girl turns up dead and many complications follow) starring Alice Faye, Dana Andrews, Linda Darnell, Charles Bickford, Anne Revere, Bruce Cabot, John Carradine, Percy Kilbride, and Martha Wentworth

Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. The poster had small paper loss at the crossfolds and some separation and scuffs on parts of the foldlines. There were many long tears and creases scattered throughout the poster, including ones entering the faces of the stars and the words of the title. There were pinholes, tears, and paper loss around the edges. Overall, the poster was in fair to good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was backed with no excess linen, and in spite of the many above defects, it still displays fairly well, but you can clearly see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects.
