An Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Window Card Movie Poster (WC; measures 14" x 17 1/4" [36 x 44 cm]) (Learn More) You Can't Beat Love, the 1937 Christy Cabanne political campaigning politics romantic comedy (a silly story about a lawyer who runs into the daughter of the Mayor who is campaigning for her father, and she treats him badly because he is not dressed well, so he announces he is running for Mayor, and when he is taken seriously as a candidate, she tries to seduce him to get him to leave the race, but he ends up running against her father, but everything works out the way you would imagine it) starring Preston Foster, Joan Fontaine, Herbert Mundin, William Brisbane, and Alan Bruce NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that we have never before auctioned this window card! Note that this poster has been trimmed on both the top and bottom and it now measures 14" x 17 1/4" [36 x 44 cm]. Also note that this window card was never folded. Often window cards would be folded across the middle, because that would make them 11" x 14", and they could then be sent with standard folded posters. Most collectors put an added value on a window card that has never been folded. Condition: fair. There are tears in the lower left extending into Fontaine's hair that have tape on the front and back.
