Casablanca: Behind the Scenes, the 1992 Harlan Lebo ("The Illustrated History of One of the Favorite Films of All Time") illustrated book about the movie Casablanca, including much information about the making of the movie, with many photographs from the film, and with a foreword by Julius Epstein. Note that this book came out at the time of the 50th anniversary of the movie.

Casablanca, the classic 1942 Michael Curtiz (one of the greatest and least heralded directors of all time!; he began directing in his native Hungary in 1912 under the name of "Mihaly Kertesz"; after 64 movies, he was signed by Warner Bros. and moved to the United States where he made many of the most memorable Warner Bros. movies of the 1930s and 1940s, including "Yankee Doodle Dandy" and this film in the very same year!; yet because he did not have a distinctive directorial style, he is rarely talked about by film critics) anti-Nazi wartime romantic melodrama ("From a play by Murray Burnett and June Alison"; Best Director & Best Picture Academy Award winner) starring Humphrey Bogart (nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award for this film; as "Rick", Richard Blaine), Ingrid Bergman (as Ilsa Lund), Claude Rains (in his nominated for Best Supporting Actor Academy Award role; as Captain Renault), Conrad Veidt (as Major Strasser), Sydney Greenstreet (as Signor Ferrari), Peter Lorre (as Ugarte), S.Z. Sakall (as Carl), Paul Henreid (as Victor Laszlo), Dooley Wilson (as Sam), Madeleine LeBeau (as Yvonne), and Leonid Kinskey (as Sascha)
