Seitz Andy Hardy New York City romantic teen comedy ("Look out Broadway - here comes Mickey!"; based on the characters created by Aurania Rouverol; one of the series of "Hardy Family" movies about Andy Hardy, his judge father, and the rest of his family; note that, in the first entries of this series, the judge father and his wife were the center of the movies, and the children had secondary roles, but Mickey Rooney's character quickly became extremely popular, and became the focus of the series) starring Lewis Stone (as Judge Hardy), Mickey Rooney (in the title role as Andy Hardy), Cecilia Parker, Faye Holden, Ann Rutherford, Diana Lewis (in the title role as Daphne Fowler), and Judy Garland NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that the card measures very slightly under 14" x 22" (an extremely tiny amount in each direction!) and has no left, right, or bottom blank borders, but it has NOT been trimmed (this was done at a time when MGM was experimenting with having as few borders as possible). Also note that this window card was never folded. Often window cards would be folded across the middle, because that would make them 11" x 14", and they could then be sent with standard folded posters.
