Fata Morgana (literally translates to "Mirage"), the 1971 Werner Herzog German Africa Sahara Desert science fiction (sci-fi) melodrama starring Eugen Des Montagnes, James William Gledhill, Wolfgang von Ungern-Sternberg, and narrated by Lotte Eisner. Note that when Herzog was filming this in Cameroon, one of his crew was mistaken as a criminal, which resulted in himself and some of his crew being beaten and thrown in jail where Herzog then contracted a blood parasite!
