Artist: Anselmo Ballester Important Added Info: Note that there were at least three printings of this poster for the first release of this movie in Italy. All feature the same artwork and all are printed by the same printing company (Moneta). Except for some small variations in the colors and Columbia logo, the only real difference between them is how the Moneta information is displayed in the bottom border. We have seen examples of this before with Italian first release posters (such as for To Catch a Thief) and the same has occurred for U.S. one-sheets for films such as Star Wars. One of the Italian experts that we consulted with tells us that the poster offered here is from likely from a subsequent printing, and this is supported by what we know of the Moneta "logos". Condition: good to very good. The poster had tiny paper loss at the middle crossfolds and tiny tears and some tiny bits of paper loss in the middle vertical foldline. There was a much lesser amount of wear on the horizontal folds. Someone took the poster and put thin white conservation tape down the back of the vertical foldline and then used colored pencils to touch up the dots of missing paper, and then they rolled the poster and stored it that way for years. Certainly, the poster could be pretty easily linenbacked, and afterwards, it will look great, and it will only have a tiny bit of restoration in the image area. Learn More about condition grades
