Cline & Buster Keaton silent Alaska Gold Rush romantic comedy short (about a married man who goes to Alaska to search for gold, and his wife is told he died there, and she remarries, and her new husband goes prospecting in Alaska, and meets her first husband, who is very much alive!) starring Buster Keaton, Joe Roberts, Sybil Seely, Bonnie Hill, Freeman Wood, and Edward F. Cline NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Condition: good to very good. The card was folded down the middle and had darkened somewhat with some smudges, scuffs, and tiny stains scattered throughout. Some talented restorer put some sort of starch restoration down the back of the center of the card, which has strengthened it, and also slight starch restoration on the back of each corner, and they did the slightest of touch up to the vertical foldline in the front of the card, and to the front of each corner, but otherwise, left is as it is. While you can still see the smudges, scuffs, and tiny stains, they are not very distracting, and they merely serve to verify that this is indeed an 87 year-old card, and I would think most collectors would be quite happy to display it on their wall!
