Gerard Damiano's Deep Throat, the classic 1972 Gerard Damiano sexploitation movie ("How far does a girl have to go to untangle her tingle?") starring Linda Lovelace, Harry Reems, Dolly Sharp, Bill Harrison, William Love, and Carol Connors. Of course, this was the first x-rated hardcore movie that "crossed over" and was seen by general audiences, and it opened the floodgates for many, many more such movies, and it definitely has a significant place in movie history.

Important Added Info: Note that we have never before auctioned this Italian poster! Also note that this Italian two-panel was printed in 2 sections designed to overlap.

Note that the "V.E." under the title stands for "Versione Editata" (Edited Version). This indicates that, like some other countries, an edited version of the film was released in Italy (perhaps in an effort to reach a wider audience or because of censorship demands). While we can find a record of the "V.E." version on a site that catalogs Italian film censor information, there is no record for an unedited version. This could mean that there was not an authorized release of the unedited film. However, we have seen a double-bill version with no mention of "V.E.". If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here.
