An Original 1977 (from the first release of this movie in the U.K.) Vintage Theatrical Folded British Quad Movie Poster (BQ; Quad Crown; measures 30" x 40" [76 x 102 cm]) (Learn More) La Casa Dell'Esorcismo (released in the U.S. in 1974 as "The House of Exorcism"), the 1973 Mario Bava (billed as Mickey Lion) & Alfredo Leone (billed as Alfred Leone) German/Italian/Spanish horror thriller ("Every corner of the soul is lost to the icy clutch of the supernatural!"; "A terrifying journey into the supernatural"; "It will possess you with fear... It will possess you with terror."; "It will be the most horrifying film you have ever seen!") starring Telly Savalas ("Telly Savalas, the devil instilling his vile spirit into the unwilling soul of a woman"), Elke Sommer, Sylva Koscina, Alida Valli, and Robert Alda (as Father Michael). Note that this movie was originally released under the title "Lisa and the Devil" to foreign markets in 1973 to very little success. After the success of "The Exorcist" the studio decided to shoot new scenes and splice them into the movie, framing the movie as a "exorcism" type film with Robert Alda cast as a priest.
