What IS linenbacking? Learn More

Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. The poster had a tagline or an alternate title under the title in quotes, and someone censored it by painting over it, likely when the film first played. The poster also had minor fold and border wear. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking (because of the painted over area). The restorer backed the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above.
