An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures approximately 3" x 4") (Learn More)

While New York Sleeps, the 1938 H. Bruce Humberstone Roving Reporters newspaper journalism crime thriller sequel (about newspaper reporters trying to solve murders while romancing pretty women) starring Michael Whalen, Jean Rogers, Chick Chandler, Robert Kellard, Joan Woodbury, Harold Huber, and Marc Lawrence. Note that there were three Roving Reporters films; Time Out for Murder, While New York Sleeps, and Inside Story. Evidently they did not do well, so no further movies in the series were made. 20th Century-Fox at this time specialized in these types of series of B-movies (including Mr. Moto, Charlie Chan, etc.).

Important Added Info: Glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). We have taken a digital photo of each that shows the general condition of the overall slide and holder, and we have also made a digital scan that shows the glass image well, but does not show the holder (except as a dark outline).

Condition: fine. This glass slide is in really excellent condition, and we feel that EVERY collector would be happy to own it. It IS possible it may have an extremely MINOR defect or defects, but nothing at all significant. We bet many dealers would call items in this grade "mint" or "near mint"!
